ツアーの Opening Act （Press Release には「Special Guest」と書いてあります）について、正式発表はありませんが、1st レグが Brian Setzer、2nd レグが Jackson Browne という噂です。さて、どうなるでしょうか。

Howie Epstein、脱退？？？
ショッキングなニュースです。LA ロイターが、Howie Epstein の脱退を伝えました（同ニュースの日本語版は Yahooで読むことができます）。
5/16付「Official Press Release」の中ではメンバーに関して以下のように言及しています。
The tour will feature the return of the Heartbreakers’ original bass player Ron Blair. The band has parted ways with Howie Epstein because of his ongoing personal problems.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will be touring America again this year playing mostly outdoor venues this summer. In October they will release a new album and will then play some indoor shows from October until early December.
TP&HB は Summer Tour の後、10月にニュー・アルバムをリリース、10月から12月初めまで（室内会場の）ツアーを行なう予定とのことです。益々楽しみになってきました。

ついに、オフィシャル・サイトでツアー日程が発表になりました。とはいえ、スタートからの14公演（東部地区）のみ、まだまだ追加があるはずです。更なる情報が待たれるところです。
また、今回もオフィシャル・サイトを見ているファンに向けて、チケットのプレ・セールス（一般発売前の2日間）が行なわれるとのこと。オフィシャル・サイトにはツアー専用ページが設けられ、そちらを通してスケジュールとプレ・セールス要領が発表されます。ライヴ観戦を考えている方は要チェックです

オフィシャル・サイトのBBSに気になる書込みがありました。「Ron Blair WILL be touring with the Heartbreakers!」というものです（Ron 自身が認めたという情報も有）。今のところ公式の情報は何もなく、どういうことなのか非常に気になるところです。

気になる Summer Tour、オフィシャル・サイトでの日程発表はまだなのですが、Ticketmaster のサイトには既に一部発売情報が掲載されています。ツアーのスタートは6月下旬頃のようです。
