about Runnin' Down A Dream / about Heartbreakers Japan Party
Runnin' Down A Dream
"Runnin' Down A Dream" (RDAD) is an unofficial fan site dedicated to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (TP&HB).

The site is owned by three Japanese TP&HB fans: Mayu, TOSHI, and Jun.

In February 2008, Steve Ferrone visited Japan for a tour with Yosuke Onuma, a Japanese guitarist, immediately after the XLII Super Bowl Halftime Show. He graciously took his time not only to meet us but for an exciting interview.

This opportunity has led us to launch RDAD, and we have decided to publish the interviews as well as the anthology of our activities.

In September 2008, we have been fortunate to interview Steve for the second time ... another speechless joy. And now, in 2010, it is our utmost honor to bring to you our e-mail interview with Mike Campbell!

Thank you very much for visiting. We hope you will enjoy our site as much as we have since 1998.

Best wishes,

Mayu / TOSHI / Jun

Heartbreaker's Japan Party
Mayu's Website, "Here Comes A Heartbreaker!" (HCAHB), have provided comprehensive information of TP&HB since 1998 in Japan.... to the best of our knowledge, this site is the longest running fan site in the entire globe.

The site has also been a home ground for the Japanese TP&HB fan community, and fans have periodically gathered for offline parties and shows of TP&HB tribute band, The Campbells.

We have provided TP&HB information through the Website and monthly e-mail magazines. TP&HB has not visited Japan since 1985, so we conducted petitions to make Japanese tour a reality. The signatures were collected from scores of eager fans, and finally, from TP&HB!
